A true fluency device
Since the beginning of 2004, AurisMed AS has been representing SpeechEasy in Europe. This device reduces stuttering in 70-80% of the stuttering population who has tried it. SpeechEasy is not a cure for stuttering.

SpeechEasy looks like at hearing aid. It has a microphone, a loudspeaker and an amplifier.
By using DAF technology (Delayed Auditory Feedback) and FAF technology (Frequency Altered Feedback), SpeechEasy delays your own voice (DAF) and changes the frequency of it (FAF). The combination of these two technologies has given good results in around 70-80% of stutters that have tried SpeechEasy.

This is how SpeechEasy works:
Your own voice goes through the microphone and a data chip processes your voice by using the above mentioned technologies. Your voice "returns" to your ear within a few milliseconds. It will sound like an echo.
Your voice can be amplified according to your hearing needs.
